Holiday Decorations

Its beginning to feel like the holidays are around the corner here at The Reserve in Deer Park. To get into the spirits we wanted to bring in some holiday beauty and fun into the building for everyone to enjoy.

“The Joy of brightening other lives, bearing each others’ burdens, easing each other’s loads and supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts becomes for us the magic of the holidays.” – W. C. Jones

Taffy Apples and Cider

Our tenants had the opportunity to enjoy a sweet treat while voting for their favorite pumpkin. Tenants had their choice of a type of taffy apple with some cider to get into the spooky spirits.

Every thought is a seed. If you plant crab apples, don't count on harvesting Golden Delicious.

Ice Cream Social

In July we cooled off for the summer with an ice cream social. Ice cream sundaes were made with cookie bottoms and topping of their choosing.

Celebrating Earth Week at The Reserve Deer Park

For the Month of April The Reserve at Deer Park celebrated Earth Month with some fun activities and visitors. NAI Hiffman partnered with Waste Management, Swalco, and RB Enterprises to bring exciting information, new trees on the property, and seeds for our tenants to take home and plant throughout Earth Week.

Saving energy is good business because it cuts expenses. It’s also environmentally wise and responsible. There are many things you can do to save on energy costs in your office, which can be simple things each of us can do.

Saving Tips

  • Power Down
Put your computer and monitor to sleep while not in use

  • Unplug It
Unplug electronics such as cell phones and laptops once they’re charged. Adapters plugged into outlets use energy even if they’re not charging.

  •  Save Paper
Print and copy double-sided on each piece of paper

  • Lights Out

Don’t forget to turn off your office light(s) when you leave

  • Temperature Control

During summer months, adjusting your thermostat setting up one degree typically can save 2-3% on cooling costs

  •  Recycle

Make sure to properly dispose of paper, plastic, metal, glass, batteries, bulbs and electronics
